Original oil painting by Liz Vaughn, "Refined Chaos." Switching back and forth between a graphic figurative style and an abstract style provides a certain type of artistic freedom. If one style feels heavy and overworked, I allow myself to move into a different space. I believe it helps me evolve with each new creation, and it keeps things fresh.
I have included photos of the various stages of the creation process. It is amazing to watch a painting transform and come to life.
Creation date 2025.
