Original oil painting by Liz Vaughn, "Big Bad Wolf". You might find this hard to believe, but sometimes when you are working on a painting, it seems to come alive and tell you a narrative. This delicate beauty wrapped in red with flowers adorning her antlers was no different. Little Red Riding Hood? Probably not, but I could not complete the piece without thinking of those childhood storybook characters.
