Original oil painting by Liz Vaughn. "Sublime Luminosity". This piece speaks to merging two of my great loves: figurative art and expressionism. They are merging and finding a way to hold space with each other without overcoming one another. Many, many layers, and multiple wardrobe changes (photos 2-5), help bring a subtle luminosity and depth to this piece. I am definitely in pursuit of finding the balance between these two worlds, and enjoying the complexity of this style.
