Original oil painting by Liz Vaughn. "One Hundred Veils" incorporates fashion design inspiration and text, poetry to be precise. I attended a wedding in the fall of 2019, in which several Rumi poems were read. It spoke to me on many levels and inspired me to read more about this 13th century poet, who is so widely quoted. This particular poem about love, really resonated with me and ended up fashionably entwined. Fashion and poetry - a perfect and strange compliment. Cheers to love! Created 2019
