Original oil painting by Liz Vaughn, "The Lost Orchard." I seem to be on repeat with a scenario of completely changing a painting once I think it is done. Sometimes it hangs on the wall and beckons for what seems like a small adjustment. That "small" adjustment never ends up being small, and frequently becomes a whole new painting. I have coined a phrase "for the love of painting", which sums it all up perfectly!
Please note photos 2, 3 and 4 are various stages of the painting.
This piece is perfect for a nook, in a collection or standing alone as an accent piece.
